The Bucks District Association of the National Vegetable Society are proud to stage an evening with Mark Hall, the NVS National Assistant Secretary, on Tuesday, 29th April 2014 at 7.30 p.m. at Pitstone Memorial Hall, Vicarage Road, Pitstone, LU7 9EY.
Mark is an excellent all-round kitchen gardener. In recent years he has perfected the growing of five favourite vegetables - beetroot, carrots, Tomatoes, Potatoes and small onions. This came about as the result of the introduction of a "Millennium" class at the National Championships.
During his talk Mark will share with us his approach to growing these vegetables, whether it be for the kitchen and plate or the Show bench where he is a many-times National Champion. Mark, a keen all-round gardener, welcomes questions at his talks.
NVS Members free.
Non-member guests very welcome at just £3 including refreshments during the interval.
The Bar, with its excellent Club prices, will be open.
